I’m Kelly, a 41‑year‑old mum of two, juggling full‑time work in data protection with a growing creative life that has completely transformed me. I never set out to be an author, but during one of the hardest chapters of my life, I started writing as a way to escape the noise of the real world. Away from the spreadsheets and legislation of my day job, I’m happiest when I’m with my children and our dog King, creating, writing, dreaming up new ideas, or talking with the incredible community of readers and authors I’ve found through BookTok and Instagram.

The Crystal Tinker Collection started as a book series but has now grown into so much more; it’s the heart of the brand I’m building. I want it to be a space that promotes hope, positivity, and the kind of escapism that helped me when I needed it most.
